The Connecticut Theatre Festival was founded in 1990 and originally produced dance, music, and Equity theater events at the Westminster School in Simsbury, CT. Since 2004, CTF has presented events throughout the Greater Hartford area and has collaborated with such organizations as Hartford Stage and the Hartford Symphony Orchestra. The CTF roster of artists has included such diverse groups and performers as Savion Glover, David Parsons Dance, Hubard Street Dance Chicago, Theodore Bikel, Momix, Flying Karamazov Brothers, and the Emerson String Quartet. Under the direction of Producing Artistic Director Dean Adams, the Festival is now producing events at the Simsbury Meadows on Iron Horse Boulevard in Simsbury, CT. Since its inception, the mission of CTF has been to present "extraordinary events at popular prices."
